A family company, located in Germany, managed to expand with a global network of worldwide presence. In the 50’s and the 60’s the company was successful in reacquiring subsidiaries lost during World War II and opening new markets in Latin America.

Merck was established in Colombia and started its dynamic growth in 1957, with the support of customers and friends in different areas of the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food and chemical industries, among others.
